The welder works closely with production teams to interpret blueprints, select appropriate welding techniques, and complete assemblies efficiently and accurately.The role is essential to maintaining production flow, minimizing downtime, and delivering durable, high-quality welded products on schedule.Schedule2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AMMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a manual welder in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbolsKnowledge of welding safety standards and best practicesAbility to work the 2nd shift schedule reliablyPreferred QualificationsAWS Certified Welder or equivalent certificationExperience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processesFamiliarity with welding inspection tools and NDT methodsBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment maintenancePrevious experience in a fast-paced production environmentResponsibilitiesPerform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding operations per job specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbolsInspect welded components for defects and ensure quality complianceMaintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenanceCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goalsFollow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environmentSkillsBlueprint reading and welding expertise are essential for producing accurate, high-quality welds that meet strict specifications. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness help ensure consistent product quality and a safe working environment during 2nd shift operations.Preferred experience with multiple welding processes and certification enhances versatility and supports more complex fabrication tasks.
