Generator Assembler | 2nd ShiftLooking for a hands-on manufacturing position where you can put your mechanical assembly, wiring, and power tool experience to work?We're hiring a Generator Assembler to build, wire, and test high-quality generator products in a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication and assembly environment. In this role, you'll work from blueprints, wiring schematics, and detailed work instructions while using a variety of hand, power, pneumatic, and electrical tools.If you enjoy building things, working with your hands, and seeing a finished product come together, this could be a great opportunity for you!What You'll DoAssemble & BuildAssemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components used in generator products.Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and electrical/electronic equipment to complete assemblies.Set up equipment and workstations based on the product or department.Work across multiple production areas as needed to keep production moving efficiently.Wire & TestMake electrical and wiring connections according to specifications.Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.Perform testing using established procedures and test equipment.Troubleshoot basic assembly or quality issues as they arise.Inspect for QualityInspect finished and in-process assemblies to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.Use inspection equipment and quality processes to verify accuracy.Follow job tickets, manuals, work instructions, and verbal directions.Maintain accurate documentation and follow established production procedures.Work Safely & EfficientlyFollow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.Maintain an organized and efficient workstation.Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors.Support continuous improvement efforts and help identify better ways to improve quality and productivity.What We're Looking ForMust-Have Qualifications1+ year of mechanical assembly experience1+ year of hands-on experience using hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret mechanical blueprintsAbility to read and interpret electrical/wiring schematicsPrevious experience in a production or manufacturing environmentBasic computer skills to verify and sort production jobsAbility to follow job tickets, manuals, work instructions, and verbal directionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to read and write EnglishComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environmentGreat to HaveElectro-mechanical assembly experienceSheet metal fabrication or assembly experienceExperience with pneumatic or electrical toolsFamiliarity with inspection and quality verification equipmentEquipment or workstation setup experienceExperience working in a continuous improvement environmentFlexibility to move between different workstations and production functionsWhy You'll Want to Work HereThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and wants to continue building their manufacturing skills.You'll work in an environment that values:Hands-on technical skillsLearning and skill developmentQuality craftsmanshipTeamwork and collaborationContinuous improvementReliability and attention to detailYou'll also gain experience working with a variety of modern fabrication, assembly, electrical, and testing equipment while contributing directly to the production of high-quality generator products.Schedule & Work Environment2nd ShiftMonday–Thursday? 3:30 p.m.–2:15 a.m.Enjoy a 4-day workweek!This position is located in a sheet metal fabrication and assembly environment with a moderate noise level.
