2nd Shift Plant SuperintendentFt.Wayne, IN, US, Requisition: 67207Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Job PurposeThe Production Superintendent provides leadership and oversight for multiple production lines or departments, ensuring operational efficiency, quality, and safety. This role supports strategic planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee production supervisors and ensure alignment with plant goals. Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements across shifts. Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. This position is responsible for the manufacturing operations on their assigned shift. Responsible for achieving daily productivity, efficiency, cost, quality, safety and EOE objectives through both individual and team contributions. Provides direction, leadership, development, and support to shift supervisors through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments, and continuous improvement initiatives.Education and QualificationsBachelor's degree or 4+ years of applicable experience 5+ years of experienceSkillsStrategic leadership and operational planning. Strong analytical and performance management skills. Cross-functional collaboration and communication.
