Plating OperatorTTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency ("RF") components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards ("PCB"s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.The Plating Operator is responsible for operating various chemical plating lines to ensure that accurate cycles are ran to chemical plate metals and other materials to printed circuit boards (PCBs). Operator will be required to work around various hazardous chemicals and undergo chemical handling training.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate wet process equipment for PCB panel processing through functions which include manual copper plating, solder plating, silver immersion, gold immersion, electroless copper, electrolytic gold, outer layer etching, organic coating, and hot air level processing.Set and maintain chemical processing equipment within operational parametersManually set timers on manual chemical lines and monitor when timers are completedCautiously load racks in plating tanks while ensuring proper temperature/current of bathsRead blueprints and traveler documents to produce and move products according to customer specifications and to verify that all previous operations were completedPerform Preventative maintenance on all chemical machines as workload allowsFollow all departmental process procedures correctlyComplete all departmental documentation accuratelyComplete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the departmentPerform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist productionEssential Knowledge and Skills:Ability to read, write, and communicate effectivelyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds unassistedAbility to stand for the duration of shiftAbility to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and proceduresBasic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skillsMust possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skillsFollow all safety measuresEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentPrevious chemical handling experience preferredPrevious manufacturing experience preferredPrevious PCB experience preferredTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire.Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado.
