ICP Group is headquartered in Andover, MA and has manufacturing and distribution sites throughout North America, Latin America, UK, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.ICP Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Gas House Processor for our Lynchburg VA plant. The primary responsibility of the Processor – Gas House in the Carroll location is to fill canisters with product. This position comes with an expectation of being able to work at a fast pace and be able to meet the daily schedule. Monday – Thursday; 3:30pm – 2:00am (2nd shift; shift ends Friday morning at 2am) $20.00 per hour + $.65 per hour shift differential.Responsibilities:Maintain strict adherence to all plant safety requirements including wearing proper PPEMust have good attendanceMust be able to stand for prolonged periodsAbility to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. and perform other necessary physical requirements in performance of regular job dutiesAbility to work in chemical manufacturing environment, involving solvents and other hazardous materialsMust be able to work in a non-temperature regulated environmentMust be self-motivated, organized, and detail orientedMust be able to follow specific instructions (work instructions, procedures, etc.), both written and verbalAbility to communicate effectivelyPrevious warehouse or manufacturing experience a plusRequirements:High school diploma or GEDPerform other duties as assignedHelp with cycle counts when neededTrain others when neededMaintains cleanliness of work areaGrease, adjust, or clean specific parts of the production line to keep equipment in optimal condition; use various hand toolsMay need to fill canister manual if equipment has a glitch; turn PLC off, open valve(s) manually to fill canister to appropriate weightPush filled canister back onto conveyorMonitor canister weight to ensure accurate product fillingSlide the empty canister from the conveyor to the scale, attach the hoses to the canister, and press the button to initiate the filling processReview work order information; key in formula number per work orderOperate equipment and monitor qualityPerform start up and shut down of equipmentFollow standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulationsICP Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
