2nd Shift Production Assembler - Aiken, SCOperate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machine in a safe and efficient manner. Assure that their machine is running quality parts at the production rates. Produce quality parts in accordance with customer specifications using the Hubbell Utility Solutions Quality Operating Principles.A Day In The LifeConfirm work-order is correctConfirm all required materials are hands-onConfirm correct set-up of all equipment is currentCalibration of all equipment and test equipment is currentConfirm finished product meets all quality requirementsComplete daily paperwork which includes Hr x Hr charts, counting and packing partsMaintain safety, quality, production and 5(S) housekeeping standardsWhat will help you thrive in this role?High School DiplomaUse of basic hand toolsBasic math and computer skillsGood communication, reading and organizational skillsAbility to work independently, as well as with othersWillingness to support other operations or departments as neededMust be comfortable wearing standard PPEPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 35 poundsGripping repeatedly with good physical dexterityConstant walking and standing for a 8 to 10 hour shiftsReaching, pulling, bending, stooping and twistingHubbell Incorporated creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
