Production Line LeadAn automotive manufacturing company in Columbus, IN is hiring a Production Line Lead to their team. The Production Line Lead oversees daily operations on a manufacturing or assembly line to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality.Production Line Lead's Responsibilities:Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesComplete and verify paperwork for daily production activitiesServe as the primary link between assembly operators and team leadersTrain new and existing team members to ensure consistent processesConfirm products meet all safety and quality standardsAudit work areas to ensure work instructions and procedures are being followedDemonstrate safe work practices and reinforce safety expectationsAssist on the production line as needed to maintain outputPerform line changeovers efficientlyWork overtime when required to meet production demandsMaintain and support 5S workplace organizationParticipate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiativesSchedule: 2nd ShiftMonday-Friday3:30pm-12amOvertime as neededProduction Line Lead's Benefits/ Pay:$19.25/HRMedical, dental, and vision insurance once hired onPTO time401KAnd more!Qualifications:Must have 1-3 months of related experienceFrequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and use of handsRegular exposure to moving mechanical equipmentOccasional exposure to outdoor conditions and extreme temperaturesAbility to lift or move items over 40 lbs as neededWork environment typically has moderate noise levelsMust have adequate vision for close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perceptionAbout Us:Serving the Columbus, Shelbyville, Edinburgh, Franklin, Seymour, North Vernon, and the surrounding counties, Express Employment Professionals is a full service staffing agency specializing in Industrial, Warehouse, Administrative, Skilled Manufacturing, Engineering, Accounting and Finance positions.
