Machine OperatorTo set up and operate machine at or above specified target levels throughput, yield, and rework, by following all approved production and quality documentationEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesCheck production schedule to ensure the correct product and materials are in the roomResponsible for setup and/or shutdown of equipmentResponsible that areas in room remain cleanEnsure machine process parameters are being followedEnsure correct recipe are being usedDaily communication to supervisor of any problems that occurCross train new operators on machinesEnsure company practices and procedures are being carried out effectively.Ensure daily rework is being fulfilledCorrectly complete the necessary paperworkEnsure that the production floor is a safe environment, free from hazardsOther duties assignedRequirementsEducation, Training & Experience2 years hands on experience in manufacturing environment is preferredOn the job training provided.Skills, Knowledge & AbilitiesKnowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and proceduresAbility to pay close attention to detailSkill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the jobSkill in multitasking and time managementAbility to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departmentsAbility to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidentialAbility to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP's, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defensePhysical And Environmental RequirementsMust be able to read documents, printouts, computer screens and other communicationMust be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workersMust be able to reach, touch, graspMust be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull and pushMust be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floorMust be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.Level of Physical Requirements: Sedentary to medium work level; lifting and positioning weight loads up to 40 poundsTravel Requirements0% - Optional travel may be offered to support business needs
