Imagine the Possibilities!Job DetailsFull-time2nd Shift (1:00pm–9:00pm, Monday–Friday, some Saturdays as needed)$3,000 annual 2nd shift premium in addition to base salaryDepartment: Production – Slice DepartmentLocation: 1521 Brookfield Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54313Competitive salary and benefits packageSummary Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is the first level of supervision over production operation. This position is responsible for leading and directing employees to safely and efficiently meet quality and production standards for the assigned department. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills and the demonstrated ability to motivate and engage employees.Provide supervision of employees to ensure effective selection, retention, development, and performance managementConduct annual performance appraisals and new hire evaluationsDrive productivity within the department. Report variances to productivity in a detailed and timely mannerAudit machine settings, and housekeepingEngage in production planning, team organization and delegationProvide support and ensure engagement of all team membersComplete all paperwork, including work orders, in an accurate and timely manner.Work interdepartmentally (formally/informally,) to improve communication, teamwork, and functionality between departmentsProficiently use company ERP and OEE systemsAssist in food safety and quality programsLead the department sanitation and/or pre-operational inspections as requiredComplete special projects as requiredEnsure compliance with all safety, company procedures and policiesFollow all GMP standards and ensure all employees are in compliance.Maintain a presence on the floor minimum 75% of the time.All other duties as assigned.Quality ResponsibilitiesHas the authority to stop work or escalate concerns when food safety or product quality may be at risk.Responsible for day-to-day execution of food safety and quality requirements on the production floorEnsures compliance with SOPs, GMPs, food safety and food quality controls, and BRC requirementsMonitors CCPs and preventive controls and ensures accurate documentation Escalates and supports investigation of food safety or quality deviationsSupervisor Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The individual must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP system experience preferred. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred, or two to five years of progressively responsible related experience.
