The Quality Assurance Lead reports to the Quality Supervisor and is an important member of the operations team. By prioritizing food safety in the warehouse, your expertise ensures that our customers continue to receive the high-quality, delicious, and affordable food they love. The Quality Assurance Lead performs final quality checks on all outbound boxes.What we offer you:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Annual Misfits grocery box credit of $1200 paid in weekly installmentsLife insurancePaid vacation timePaid holidaysPaid sick daysCommuter benefitsSchedule: Sunday-Wed 2 pm-1 am$19.50 Weekly PayWhat you'll be doing:Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complies with all state and local regulations for a food-based facility.Performs final QA Inspections on outbound customer orders including missing, damaged, or improperly packed items.Documents and maintains legible, accurate records of all food products in the warehouse including discarded and damaged products from various departments.Responsible for verifying the accuracy ofIdentifies and reports any potential food safety or quality problems, immediately escalating to the QC or Operations Supervisor.Uses heatmap data to identify and address packing errors upstream in the production line.Documents and maintains legible, accurate records of all picking errors in the warehouse, including missing, damaged, and out-of-stock items.Effectively manages time and changing priorities to minimize downtime in the receiving and production departments.Applies strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to train new team members according to company processes.Serves as backup to QC Supervisor and QC Lead, represents the FC in times of QC Supervisor's absence.What you have:Authorized to work in the United States.Experience or comfort with working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)Strong verbal communications skillsWillingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you toAbility to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodationNice for you to have:HS Diploma or equivalentBilingual preferred (English/Spanish)Experience working in a food based environment
