2nd Shift Shop HelperClayton Services is searching for a 2nd Shift Shop Helper to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston. The 2nd Shift Shop Helper plays a key part in supporting shop and production operations, including crating products, cleaning pipe, and operating a variety of saws, grinders, and other power tools. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to perform a wide range of duties to keep operations running smoothly.Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay Rate: $18.00/hour plus OT Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more. Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm or 3:30 pm to 2:00 am (depending on the business needs)2nd Shift Shop Helper ResponsibilitiesCrate and prepare finished products for shipment or storage.Clean and prepare pipe and other materials for production use.Safely operate saws, grinders, and other hand or power tools.Assist with various shop and production tasks as assigned.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Support both day-to-day operations and special projects as needed.2nd Shift Shop Helper Skills and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule.2nd Shift Shop Helper Education and ExperiencePrior experience in a shop, warehouse, or production environment.Comfortable operating hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment.2nd Shift Shop Helper - Immediate need.
