Turret Operator - 2nd ShiftEarn a $1,250 Sign-On Bonus!About the Role$1,250 Sign-On Bonus Available for Eligible New Hires!As a 2nd Shift Turret Operator (Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM), you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating turret punch press machines to fabricate metal components with precision and efficiency.Your primary responsibility is to set up, program, and run turret machines to produce parts that meet exact specifications and quality standards. You will interpret blueprints, select appropriate tooling, and ensure smooth machine operation to maximize productivity while minimizing waste.This role requires strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Your work directly contributes to the production of high-quality metal products that support company manufacturing goals.Schedule2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AMMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience operating turret punch press or similar metal fabrication machineryBasic understanding of mechanical tools and machine operationAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and manual dexterityPreferred QualificationsCertification in machine operation or metal fabricationExperience with CNC turret punch press programming and operationFamiliarity with manufacturing safety standards and best practicesBasic computer skills for machine programming and data entryAbility to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairsResponsibilitiesSet up and operate turret punch press machines according to job specifications and production schedulesRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work ordersLoad raw materials and position them accurately on the machine bedMonitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standardsPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinesInspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, documenting defectsCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targetsFollow all safety guidelines and company policiesSkillsThe required skills enable the Turret Operator to accurately set up and run turret punch press machines to produce high-quality parts that meet specifications. Attention to detail ensures accurate fabrication and helps reduce waste and rework.Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity support efficient machine operation and tooling adjustments. Preferred skills such as CNC programming and troubleshooting improve productivity and allow faster resolution of machine issues.
