Inventory ControlTo: All Production AssociatesFrom: Associate ServicesShift: 3rd Shift - 09:00PM to 06:00AFLSA Status: Section LeaderEssential Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.Must be able to anticipate potential problems and apply solutions and preventative measures.Excellent Attendance.Must be able to operate a forklift.Must be flexible to support extraordinary production requirements.Excellent communication skills and able to present information to large group of associates.Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.Support and direct daily company production and projects.Understand the Roles and Responsibilities of each associate and be able and available to perform any associate's job if necessary and as directed by management.Investigate abnormal situations. Document and share findings utilizing Microsoft Office.Monitor aging trailer report.Confirm order and yard maintenance is completed in GCCS/GPCS. Ensure error management screen is maintained. Report any unresolved issues.Respond to AAP Requests (Cycle Count/JSP)Identify needed repacks and timings.Complete all carryover requests from AAP.Provide results of daily activity to SupervisorSupport Physical Inventory requirements.Safety/Environment:Follow safety rules and requirementsEnsure work area is clean (at end of shift)Support Incident Reports as necessary.Quality:Maintain Inventory Accuracy dailyReport any inventory irregularities to SV immediatelyCost:Ensure correct receipt of all parts in both GCCS and GPCSDelivery:Support overtime (scheduled or unscheduled)Monitor receiving areas to ensure correct receiptMorale:Interact with team members and customer daily in a positive way.Treat all associates consistently and respectfully.Raise concerns/issues immediately to management.Training:Train on SOPs as presented by managementSkill advancement courses are availableQualifications/Experience/Education:Post-high school education (2 - 4-year degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience.Able to interact professionally within the company with our customer and associates.Able to lead project teams and present information to managementExcellent communication and organizational skills.Must be able and willing to work any shift, hours, holidays, weekends, or overtime as neededComputer skills- Microsoft Office; GCCS/GPCSSuccessful completion of Microsoft Assessment Test will be requiredApplication Procedure:If you are interested in being considered for this position, complete an Application for Position Posting and submit to Associate Services by:Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:59pm All Applications are in the Associate Services office at the TCC Facility, PMC Offices (HMA Line 1, HMA Line 2, and HMA Line 3), and Talladega Control Office.To be considered for the position the associate must be eligible the day the posting comes down which is:Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:59pmNote: In order to be eligible for this posting you MUST meet the criteria listed below, otherwise you will not be eligible.The potential candidate must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service (Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period).The potential candidate must not have received any formal written occurrences other than attendance during the past 12 months.The potential candidate must not have less than 3.5 points during the time of posting.
