Job Title : Payroll Specialist
Location : Downers Grove, IL (Hybrid)
Pay Range : $22/hr - $32/hr
Benefits : Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k)
Role Overview : Brilliant Financial Staffinghas been engaged in the search for a Payroll Specialist for one of our clients. The Payroll Specialist will be brought on a contract basis for 2 to 6 months.
Responsibilities: Review bi-weekly payroll process queries, labor redistributions, budget transfers, spreadsheets, and forms
Resolve issues with ACH and direct deposit issues with checks
Prepare and verify bank deposits daily and record journal entries
Investigate employee pay issues
Data entry of payroll data
Manage and maintain documentation and storage of payroll records
Qualifications : Strong Excel skills
Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
SAP, WorkDay, or Workforce knowledge preferred
Payroll experience preferred
