Base pay range
$50.00/hr - $55.00/hr
Our client, one of the largest retail fashion brands in country, is seeking an experienced 3D Designer to join their Visual Merchandising team 100% onsite at their headquarters in San Francisco, CA. This role blends high-level graphic design, some photography, and 3D visualization with hands‑on collaboration across store communications, brand activations, and visual merchandising initiatives.
The opportunity to support these highly visible, mission‑critical designs begins as a 1‑year, W2 contract offering competitive benefits, a collaborative work environment, and the potential to extend or convert to permanent employment!
Please Note: This position is onsite and cannot support C2C or sponsor/transfer any visas. Responsibilities
Lead creative design and layout for monthly in-store visuals, communication tools, and presentation decks
Develop polished mockups and 3D renderings to bring retail concepts and experiences to life
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams on design collateral, props, and marketing materials for brand launches
Execute professional studio photography and photo retouching that aligns with visual standards
Translate merchandising strategies into compelling visual assets and tools
Stay ahead of design and photography trends, ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables
Collaborate with partners, including Marketing, Field Visual, Communications, and more to hit deadlines and business goals
Manage timelines, workflows, and process improvements in a fast‑paced setting
Foster a creative, collaborative, and innovative team culture
Travel locally (within 50 miles) to support store‑based shoots and projects as needed
Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in graphic design and 3D rendering, ideally in retail or visual merchandising
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design and visual storytelling (required with application)
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and 3D design tools; experience with Figma, Miro, Airtable, and SharePoint
Skilled in preparing print‑ready files and working with print vendors
Sharp organizational and project management skills
High attention to detail and a keen sense of design trends
Strong communicator and team collaborator
Proactive, self‑driven attitude with a passion for innovation
Comfortable with occasional local travel to support key visual projects
