3FV Sub Assembler- Enterprise, KSLand Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 3FV Sub Assembler at our facility in Enterprise, KS to assemble kits, stages, inspects, and documents valve components and completed valve assemblies.This Position works Monday through Thursday 6:00a.m.-4:30p.m. Some overtime may be requiredEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.Follows all Great Plains policies and OSHA safety regulations, wears prescribed safety and protective equipment, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe valve assembly work area.Reads and follows production schedules, work orders, bills of material, drawings, routings, and assembly instructions to determine valve components, quantities, and build requirements.Kits, stages, and verifies valve components, hardware, seals, fittings, labels, and related parts to ensure correct materials are available for assembly.Assembles valves and related components according to specifications using appropriate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment.Installs, aligns, tightens, and secures components such as valve bodies, cartridges, spools, springs, fittings, plugs, seals, O-rings, hoses, and mounting hardware as required.Inspects components and completed valve assemblies for proper fit, finish, orientation, cleanliness, and conformance to quality standards.Performs required checks, tests, or functional inspections on valve assemblies and reports defects, shortages, or nonconforming materials to the appropriate supervisor or quality personnel.Maintains accurate records of parts used, kits completed, assemblies produced, shortages, defects, and other required production information.Uses computer systems, scanners, paperwork, tags, or labels to document production activity, component usage, inventory movement, and completed assemblies.Moves, lifts, stages, and organizes materials, kits, and completed valve assemblies using proper material-handling methods and equipment.Communicates with team members, supervisors, inventory personnel, and quality personnel regarding part availability, assembly issues, production priorities, and process improvements.Supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, organization, and workflow within the valve assembly and kitting area.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
