Job description
Machine OperatorWe have immediate openings for 2nd and 3rd shift machine operators with our client, a plastics manufacturing company in Janesville.These are long term temp roles with opportunity for hire after completion of probationary period, based on performance and business need.Main responsibilities:Ensure production in compliance with proceduresProduce in accordance with procedures and standards (production, quality, flows, health & safety, etc.). Record production on the relevant sheetsPackage and identify parts produced and affix labelsValidate conformity between the product and product labelsQuality controlClean his/her stationsQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentPrevious manufacturing experience. Plastics industry experience preferredManual dexterity to assemble, operate, adjust and inspectNear vision to handle small parts and to detect visual defectsNormal color vision and depth perception capabilityAbility to take direction from othersCommunication skills to work effectively in a team environmentReading and basic math comprehension to understand and interpret training guides, standard operating procedures and quality informationSchedule:2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm Mon - Fri3rd shift, 11pm-7am Sun-Thurs**Ability to train for 1-2 weeks on 1st or 2nd shift highly preferredPay: $18/hourInterested candidates can apply many ways:- Call or text to speak with a Recruiter- Submit online application- Send resumes to
