3rd Shift Assistant Production ManagerAssistant Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor Direct Hire | $55,000–$70,000 salary + Bonus Potential Berne, IN | 3rd Shift, 10:00PM- 6:30AM (Monday–Friday) Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire an Assistant Production Manager. This is a direct hire leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, supporting teams, and driving efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing supervisor with experience in die casting, CNC machining, or assembly operations who is ready to grow into a larger leadership role.What You'll DoSupervise and support daily production operations on 3rd shiftLead and assign work to production associates to meet output and quality goalsTrain, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and developmentMonitor production schedules, machine changeovers, and workflow efficiencyTroubleshoot production issues and support maintenance when neededEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and company proceduresAssist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environmentWhat We're Looking ForPrevious supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead teams and keep production running efficientlyMechanical or electrical knowledge preferredExperience in die casting, CNC machining, or manufacturing assembly highly preferredFamiliarity with ISO 14001 or IATF 16949 quality systems is a plusHigh School Diploma or GED required; technical or manufacturing degree preferredCompensation & BenefitsUp to $70,000 salary, depending on experienceOvertime pay in addition to base salaryBonus potentialDirect hire position with long-term growth opportunitiesFull benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plansStable Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as neededIf you're an experienced manufacturing leader looking for a stable company and an opportunity to grow into a production management role, we'd love to hear from you.
