We want to hear from you!Now hiring for: 3rd Shift Extrusion Operator (M-F 12:00am-8:00am) Includes a 6% shift differential on top of base pay. Previous wire or plastics extrusion or wire and cable experience highly preferred.Marmon Aerospace & Defense Group proudly supports the defense industry for Land, Sea, Air and Space applications by offering a full range of connectivity products and services, including custom wire and cable, coil cords, cable assemblies, tools, testing and training and installation services. As an experienced manufacturer we assure that all of our products are engineered and manufactured with the highest level of expertise.Machine Operator ResponsibilitiesSet up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final productsMaintain activity logsSkillsWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Previous manufacturing environment requiredUnderstanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Analytical skillsAttention to detailTeamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strengthPhysical DemandsMay require lifting up to 40 lbs.Work Location: Manchester, NHFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
