nResponsibilities:
nProvide overnight supervision and direct care support to group home residents
nMonitor resident safety and well-being throughout the 3rd shift hours
nAssist residents with personal care needs, including hygiene and medication reminders as required
nDocument resident behaviors, incidents, and any notable overnight observations accurately
nRespond calmly and effectively to behavioral or medical situations and follow emergency protocols
nMaintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for all residents
nCommunicate shift updates and resident concerns to incoming staff during shift transitions
nRequirements:
nHigh school diploma or GED required
nPrior experience in residential care, group home, or direct support professional (DSP) role preferred
nAbility to work overnight/3rd shift hours reliably and consistently
nStrong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
nCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
nCompassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach to care
nMust pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
