Machine OperatorNSC Staffing has immediate openings for Machine Operator in Indianapolis, IN. Candidates must be comfortable working around machines. Attention to detail and ability to work overtime.Job Requirements: Openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts Pay: $14.00 plus shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate basic understanding of specific job requirements and be ability to follow pre-planned methodsPossess thorough understanding of tasks and expectations involved in making or assembling a good part; such as trimming gates and flash, gluing, and handling and packing of partsKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Review and understand Production Black Book instructions. Actively seek answers to questionsComplete operator training set for job assignedReview and understand quality standards of job assignedAccurate reporting of production quantities and scrap information on Traveler and other required documentsProvide constant feedback to Team Lead, Mold Technicians, and Quality team regarding issues that arise during the production process; deficient parts, personnel issues, equipment failures, etc.Participate in regular shift communication meetingsNotify Production Shift Supervisor of repair needsMaintain a clean work area; Ensure machines and floors are free of debris and clutterKeep all paperwork neat and accurateMaintain a one piece flow at the pressWe value our employees and are committed to offering meaningful employment in safe workplace conditions.
