Optical Fiber Testing TechnicianPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork per standard operating procedures in Testing Optical FibersDocument the manufacturing process as requiredPerform basic equipment maintenance & calibrationAssist recommending solutions to technical problemsMay assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipmentAssist engineers as neededCross-training in other areas as neededEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years experience in manufacturing / lab environmentPrevious experience or practice executing delicate tasks with small, fragile partsComputer literacy including data entry in ExcelAbility to see details at close rangeExcellent hand to eye coordinationSafety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
