Production SupervisorVenteon is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Fremont, OH.Requirements of the Production Supervisor:Requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a union environmentWorking knowledge of a unionized workforce desiredAble to work well in a team environmentHigh sense of urgencyStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to concentrate and pay close attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communicationBenefits of the Production Supervisor:Competitive salaryAdvancement potentialFull timePaid time offMedical / Dental / Vision401kResponsibilities of the Production Supervisor:Supervision of hourly employees and scheduling laborEnsures safety, quality, housekeeping, and production activities and objectives are being metEnsures that all equipment and material necessary to perform the job effectively and safely are in place.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to quality, production, safety, cost control, and employee relations.Drive continuous improvement efforts in scrap reduction, safety, and process improvements.Provide clear expectations and hold team members accountable while providing continual feedback.Provide associates with inspiration, direction & coaching to achieve work objectives.Develop team members accordingly.Promote, maintain, and develop lean manufacturing practices.Monitor and address output & productivity issues within assigned departments inclusive of meeting production targets, cycle time and product & process quality standards.Hold associates accountable for meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.Assist with administering training for associates.Perform and complete various audits as assigned.Hold team meetings to present line and company information.If you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally high performing company and you think the above opportunity is appropriate for you, we invite you to submit your resume in Microsoft Word format to treat all resumes with strict confidentiality.
