Our mission is to make manufacturing as agile and scalable as the digital world, and in doing so, rebuild the infrastructure of the physical economy.Position OverviewWe're seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Inspector to support quality control and inspection across our injection molding operations. You'll be on the floor inspecting parts, maintaining records, and working closely with process engineers and production to ensure every part meets Atomic's exacting standards.This is a key hands-on role as we scale high-volume production and build out our ISO-compliant quality systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual and dimensional inspections of molded parts (first piece, in-process, and final)Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, checking fixture, etc.)Assist Quality Technician with part qualification processes: Example - PPAP, capability studiesPerform Dock Audits, Incoming Inspections, and LPAs per scheduleMonitor Safe Launch activities (If Present) as neededRecord and Validate part Defects/Scrap from production run as neededEscalate issues to the correct personnel should issues ariseValidate performance to production control planRecord and maintain accurate inspection data and non-conformance reportsSupport the team on containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsMaintain inspection tools per Atomic's calibration programCollaborate with operators, engineers, and quality manager on continuous improvementFollow and enforce safety and cleanliness standards on the shop floorQualifications1 year of experience in a quality role in injection molding or precision manufacturingAble to communicate issues clearly using proper chain of commandStrong attention to detailBasic computer skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Google SheetsBonus: experience with digital inspection equipment (CMM, vision systems)What We Offer$19–$23/hour and generous equity packageFull medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents401(k)PTO with a 15-day minimum
