A server at Alteno Restaurant works effectively as part of the service team of the Restaurant/Bar. The Restaurant Server is primarily responsible, but not limited to, fulfilling all guest’s service needs according to 1 Hotel standards.
Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendations
~ Follow high standards of food product, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures
~ Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked
~ Willingness to assists busser or fellow servers in clearing and resetting tables when needed
~ Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact respectable conversation and smiling
~ Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
~ Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol
~ Perform other related activities as assigned by management
~ Guarantee neat and quality service
~ Participate in daily shift meetings
~ Follow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures with care
~ Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
~ Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.
~ Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
~ Embody the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass; deliver on Our Promise, provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand Pillars.
Prior serving experience
~ Strong communication and customer service skills
~ Proficient in verbal and written English communication
~ Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment)
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel
Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor.

Passionate about hospitality and food and beverage with previous similar work experience. Basic knowledgeable of banquet operations, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented. Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
