Warehouse ManagerWhat You'll Do:Manage Daily AssignmentsLog daily warehouse activitiesSuggest possible process improvementsWork with auditors to ensure that guidelines and procedures are always followedTrain and follow up with employeesAdminister disciplinary action to direct reportsInspection of WarehouseEnsure that the warehouse is always clean and free from injuriesEnsure that the quality, rotation and accuracy policies are always adhered toManage shift change to ensure that they are carried out in an efficient and timely fashionFollow-up with Shipping DocumentsEnsure that accurate timely processing of documents occursCoach employees who need helpAssisting DC Manager in Security and Fire Safety IssuesSupervisory Responsibilities:9-12 Direct Reports0 Indirect ReportsRequirements for Success:4-year degree or equivalent experience in any of the following: Supervision, Business, Management2 - 4 years Supervisory experience in a warehousing or plant environmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent Communication skills – written & verbalIndependent thinking with the ability to make decisions quicklySense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problemsMust display initiative and ingenuityOn the job training regarding Training by HACCP CoordinatorTeamworkPhysical Requirements & Working ConditionsTo perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
