Dock WorkerThis is a Part-Time positionShift Time: 4:00PM-9:00PMResponsibilitiesComplete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipmentProperly document all freight control processesParticipate in Dayton Freight's training and improvement programsBe available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignmentsAdhere to the operational procedures and guidelines contained in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker ManualQualifications18 years of ageBasic math skillsFluent in EnglishAble to pass a drug screenLegally eligible to work in the United StatesBenefitsStable and growing organizationPay beginning at $23.95 per hourQuick advancementProfessional, positive and people-centered work environmentModern facilitiesClean, late model equipment401(k) plan, Company MatchPhysical DemandsThis position requires the ability to perform routine physical tasks associated with dock and inspection operations, including ascending and descending from forklifts, operating forklifts and handling freight and related equipment. Duties may involve standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, climbing, and entering trailers, with regular use of scanners and computer systems.
