Practice Setting: Outpatient Endoscopy / Ambulatory Surgery (OBS)
Description \ N We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join a well-established outpatient endoscopy practice serving patients in Middletown and New Windsor. This position is dedicated exclusively to low-acuity outpatient endoscopy procedures, offering a predictable schedule with no inpatient responsibilities, no complex surgical cases, and no call requirements.
\ N Providers are assigned to a single location for each workday, with no travel required between sites during scheduled shifts. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a balanced lifestyle while providing high-quality anesthesia care in a streamlined outpatient setting.
About the Facility \ N This outpatient endoscopy practice specializes in providing anesthesia services for routine gastrointestinal procedures in a modern ambulatory setting. The practice focuses exclusively on low-risk (ASA I–II) patients, creating an efficient, collaborative, and patient-centered environment. Physicians work alongside experienced gastroenterologists, nursing professionals, and support staff to deliver safe, high-quality care with predictable daytime schedules.

\ N Base salary of $400,000 , plus bonus potential
\ N Relocation assistance up to $15,000 (with receipts)

Job Responsibilities \ N Provide monitored anesthesia care (MAC) and sedation for routine outpatient endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
\ N Perform pre-procedure anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans for low-risk (ASA I–II) patients.
\ N Monitor patients throughout procedures and manage post-anesthesia recovery through discharge.
\ N Collaborate with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and endoscopy personnel to ensure safe, efficient patient care and workflow.
\ N Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
\ N Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives as needed.
\ N Qualifications \ N MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
\ N Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
\ N Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
\ N Active, unrestricted state medical license.
\ N Current DEA registration.
\ N Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
\ N Experience providing MAC/sedation anesthesia in an endoscopy or ambulatory surgery setting is preferred.

\ N Single-site assignment each workday (Middletown or New Windsor)
\ N No travel between locations during the workday
\ N No inpatient responsibilities
