Licenses/Certifications: Louisiana Pharmacy Licensure, BLS (required), ACLS (preferred)
Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience preferred, including ICU, emergency, behavioral health, and orthopedic surgery

What You'll Do
Prepare and dispense medications accurately based on physician orders
Interpret and verify verbal and written drug orders into patient records
Compound and dispense sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition
Issue controlled substances and maintain regulatory records
Provide clinical consultation, including drug interaction and contraindication review
Monitor and adjust drug therapies, ensuring safety and efficacy
Participate in medication management, antibiotic and opioid stewardship programs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during rounds and clinical activities
Educate patients and families on medication use and safety
What You Need
Required: Louisiana Pharmacy Licensure
BLS certification (AHA)
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Preferred: ACLS certification
Experience in ICU, emergency, behavioral health, or orthopedic settings
