4th Shift General HelperSpecialty Products is seeking a 4th Shift General Helper (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Thursday - Sunday) at our processing plant in Brook Park, Ohio. We are looking for equally passionate people to help us fulfill our mission of spreading the goodness of the sea to everyone!What you'll do: This job requires, but is not limited to the following duties:Operating a forklift while following all safety regulationsFollowing all factory GMPs to ensure compliance to all internal and external standardsGeneral cleaning and housekeeping of production areas to ensure safety of employees and safety, legality and quality of product. This includes:General sweeping and vacuuming of production areas to remove product buildup on the floors, equipment and surrounding areas.Removal of trash, waste and recycle before shift end and as needed throughout shift or when instructed by the supervisor or management.Any specific cleaning tasks as requested by the supervisor or managementStaging materials as needed throughout the shift. This also includes staging all materials for the next shift.Relieving other positions during breaks, lunches or in times of need per supervisor or management request.Ensuring the washroom is clean, organized and free from buildup throughout shift and before end of shift. This includes:Chemical cabinet locked and securedFloors cleaned, sinks free from tools and debrisAll tools hung properlyWhat You'll Need:Manually lifting 50-70lb bags, boxes or tubs and moving pallets as neededHigh School Diploma or GEDPrior work experience in a processing facility or in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with a positive attitudeAbility to work overtimeWho we are: Since 1849, America has trusted the Gorton's Fisherman.
