Job TitleBe the First to ApplyJob DescriptionEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOperates tapping machine equipment to produce parts according to specifications and/or special instructions.Understands and uses drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.Starts and observes on-going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.Understand tapping sequenceKeep tooling clean and in working orderCompensation: $20/hr.-$25/hr.QualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).Working experience of manufacturing environment.A minimum of 0-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.About UsHowmet Aerospace Inc.
