Job TitleOperationsJob DescriptionEssential Duties And Responsibilities• Operates tapping machine equipment to produce parts according to specifications and/or special instructions.• Understands and uses drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.• Starts and observes on-going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.• Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.• Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.• Understand tapping sequence• Keep tooling clean and in working orderCompensation:$20/hr.-$25/hr.QualificationsEducation and/or Experience• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).• Working experience of manufacturing environment.• A minimum of 0-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
