nPosition Overview: This is a 60-90 day temporary assignment, non-benefit eligible position. The successful candidate will be assigned to their area of specialty.
nKey Responsibilities:
nnProvide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of patient conditions
nAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety
nPerform triage functions and assist with emergency response protocols as needed
nCollaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
nMaintain accurate and timely electronic health records and clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards
nAdhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and quality assurance measures
nWork assigned schedule of 36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period)
nWork every other weekend as scheduled
nWork every other holiday as scheduled
nFulfill the complete 56-112 day schedule commitment
nMaintain current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing throughout the assignment
nDemonstrate flexibility and adaptability when assigned to areas of greatest clinical need
n nRequired Experience: 2 years of related nursing work experience in a clinical setting.
