Job Summary:
Right at Home Northern Westchester, a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team. As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes. #BeEssential as a Right at Home Caregiver!
Responsibilities and Duties:
As an HHA with Right at Home Northern Westchester, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with personal care activities such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
Performing light housekeeping activities, meal preparation, and errands
Providing companionship through activities such as reading, music, and puzzles
Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises and medication reminders
Accompanying clients on medical appointments and providing support with daily living activities
Qualifications and Skills: High school graduate or G.E.D.
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance (preferred)
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Clean Motor Vehicle Report
Pass a background check
CNA license, Home Health Aide and/or Personal Care Aide certification (preferred)
