A/B Automotive Technician | Up to $55/hr | Shop Experience Required

Location: Eugene, Oregon
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends
Pay: $30–$55/hour, based on technician level, experience, and demonstrated skills
Pay Type: Hybrid compensation structure | Hourly + Production Bonus
Experienced Automotive Technicians Wanted — A or B Level
Jerry and Walts Complete Auto Care is seeking an experienced A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician to join its growing team in Eugene, Oregon.

Compensation by Technician Level
A-Level Technician
$35–$55/hour
5+ years of professional automotive shop experience preferred
Advanced diagnostic, electrical, drivability, and repair capabilities expected
B-Level Technician
$30–$40/hour
3–5 years of professional automotive shop experience preferred
Strong general repair abilities with developing diagnostic capabilities
Final compensation will be determined based on job-related professional shop experience, technical ability, diagnostic capabilities, certifications, and demonstrated skill level.

What You'll Do
Depending on your experience and technician level, responsibilities may include:
Diagnose and repair vehicle drivability concerns.
Perform automotive electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Complete general mechanical repair and maintenance work.
Diagnose and repair more complex vehicle concerns based on individual skill level.
Service and repair Domestic, European, and Japanese vehicles.
Use professional diagnostic equipment and shop technology to accurately identify vehicle issues.
Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality workmanship.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians.
Work collaboratively with the rest of the shop team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Continue developing technical knowledge through paid training programs.
Qualifications
Jerry and Walts is open to both A-Level technicians and strong B-Level technicians .
A-Level Candidates
5+ years of professional automotive shop experience required
Strong advanced diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Experience diagnosing complex drivability concerns.
Ability to independently handle advanced mechanical repairs.
Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems.
B-Level Candidates
3–5 years of professional automotive shop experiencerequired
Strong general automotive repair skills.
Experience performing repairs in a professional automotive shop.
Working diagnostic and electrical knowledge.
Ability and desire to continue developing advanced technical skills.
All Candidates
Professional, hands-on automotive repair experience in an established automotive shop environment is required.
Personal, hobby, backyard, or informal repair experience alone does not meet the professional experience requirement.
Ability to work on Domestic, European, and Japanese vehicles.
Professional communication skills.
Team-oriented and dependable work style.
Commitment to efficient, accurate, high-quality repairs.
Compensation & Benefits
A-Level: $35–$55/hour based on experience and demonstrated skills.
B-Level: $30–$40/hour based on experience and demonstrated skills.
Production bonus in addition to hourly compensation.
