Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40–$60/hour

About Portsmouth Car Clinic
Portsmouth Car Clinic is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Portsmouth, NH, offering $40–$60/hour with weekly pay. This Monday–Friday role includes approximately 30%–35% diagnostic work, factory diagnostic tooling, professional scan equipment, and Shop Foreman support. Service Advisors handle parts ordering so technicians can stay focused on diagnostics and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
Complete general automotive repairs, maintenance, and inspections
Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using Shop-Ware
Document vehicle findings and repair recommendations
Communicate repair needs with Service Advisors and shop leadership
Qualifications
5+ years of professional automotive technician experience
A-Level or strong B-Level technical ability
Strong automotive diagnostic and general repair skills
Experience diagnosing electrical systems and drivability concerns
Independent repair shop or dealership experience preferred

40-hour guarantee for the first 90 days for flat-rate technicians
