A-Level Automotive Technician | Up to $100K | Hourly Pay
Location: St. Charles, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $35-$45/hour, based on experience
Pay Type: Straight hourly - No Flat Rate
Additional Pay: Production bonus opportunities based on efficiency
Earning Potential: Up to $100,000 annually
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in St. Charles, IL.
This position pays $35-$45/hour based on experience, with production bonus opportunities based on efficiency and earning potential up to $100,000 annually.
You'll work Monday-Friday in a team-oriented shop with advanced diagnostic work, modern equipment, and the stability of straight hourly pay with no flat rate.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
Perform general automotive repair and maintenance
Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
Use factory-level diagnostic procedures and scan tools
Diagnose CAN and vehicle network concerns
Maintain approximately 50-52 hours of weekly productivity
Complete repairs to OEM-level quality standards
Support and mentor other technicians when needed
Qualifications
A-Level automotive repair experience
Extensive professional automotive repair experience; 8+ years preferred
Strong automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
Experience using factory scan tools and OEM-level diagnostic procedures
Understanding of CAN and vehicle network diagnostics
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Proven ability to produce quality repairs in a professional shop environment
Compensation & Benefits
