2 - 5 patients per shift; 3 - 8 admissions per shift
Inpatient pediatric hospitalist role
Call volume averages 5 phone consults per 24 hours
Non-invasive ventilation, intubation, central/arterial line placement required
Conscious sedation, lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion required
Paracentesis, thoracentesis, circumcision, suturing skills required
X-ray and EKG interpretation required
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
Assignment details and time entry in online portal
