Plus, new mechanics in Milwaukee (MKE), Chicago (ORD) and Salt Lake City (SLC) qualify for a $10,000 bonus with a commitment to work in that location for at least three years. Those with military A&P experience are also eligible for an additional $7,500 bonus . nPrimary Job Duties
nAs an A&P mechanic, you will work on the entire aircraft and effectively troubleshoot our growing fleet of CRJ200, CRJ550, CRJ700, CRJ900, and E175 aircraft. You will also:
nnnTroubleshoot all aircraft systems
n
nnBe responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner
n
nnBe trained to perform all maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time
n
nnManage all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork
n
n nMinimum Requirements
nnnMeet all FAA and Safety Requirements
n
nnHold a valid FAA-issued A&P Certificate
n
nnPossess good troubleshooting skills
n
nnPossess excellent communication and people skills
n
nnPossess problem-solving and organizational skills
n
nnBe willing to work a night/third shift position, including nights, weekends, and holidays
n
nnExercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment, as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety
n
nnPreferred: CRJ and EMB experience
n
nnPreferred: Be familiar with Company and Manufacturer Manuals
n

n nPhysical and Other Requirements
nnnBe at least 18 years of age
n
nnPossess a valid, unrestricted driver's license
n
nnBe able to read, write, and understand the English Language
n
nnBe able to comfortably lift 60 lbs. routinely with or without reasonable accommodation
n
nnThis is a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
n
