A&P Mechanic
nLAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking A&P Mechanics with Turbo Prop experience for an opportunity in Pompano Beach, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repairs, and inspections at a Part 145 Service Center.
nJob description n Able to use FAA-approved data, i.e., IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc., proficiently.n
Performs airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications required to meet company and FAA requirementsn
Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft systemsn
Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting, including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems, using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAAn
Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignmentn
Completes all required maintenance records as stated in Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals n
nQualifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.n
High school diploma or general education degree GED requiredn
Five plus years of Aviation Maintenance experience required. TBM/Turbo prop experience preferred.n
Inspection experience/ IA designation preferred.n
Experience with TBM aircraft, preferredn
Must possess a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificaten
Basic computer skills requiredn
Must be able to legally work in the USn
Valid US Driver’s License requiredn
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & background checkn
