Job description
Our client, a global leader in the IT industry is seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Dispute Resolution Specialist. This is a HYBRID role where you will report to the Vernon Hills, IL office 2 days (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) a week and have the flexibility to work from a home office 3 days a week . This position pays $25-$27/hour depending on relevant experience and will work from 8am-5pm Monday – Friday . This role starts as a 5-month contract but will offer the opportunity for extensions. We are seeking a candidate who has 3+ years of experience managing the dispute resolution process and resolving discrepancies including billing errors, discrepancies between invoices & purchase orders, and incorrect delivery of goods or services in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Research disputes to determine facts and identify root cause and a pathway to a resolution.
Ensure accurate and timely responses to disputes within defined turnaround time requirements.
Create reports and provide status updates on outstanding disputes to management.
Validate appropriate data from internal and third-party systems and ensure appropriate course of action is being pursued.
Engage in clear and professional communication with customers and stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive records of all dispute related activities, communications, and resolutions.
Generate regular reports on dispute trends, aging, and resolution status for management.
Adhere to internal controls and maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of experience managing the dispute resolution process and resolving discrepancies including billing errors, discrepancies between invoices & purchase orders, and incorrect delivery of goods or services in a timely manner.
Previous experience generating reports on dispute trends, aging, and timelines for dispute resolutions for upper management.
Adept at using multiple computer programs and learning new systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to update internal and external stakeholders during the dispute resolution process.
