Job description
We are seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team and provide direct ABA services to support children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will work one-on-one and implement a behavior support plan designed by a BCBA clinician. These support plans are developed to address the child's specific needs including behavior management, social skills, and independence. This position is based out of our Shrewsbury and Worcester clinics and you could be scheduled to work with clients at either clinic and/or in client homes in the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
Provide clinic-based and in-home ABA services
Work collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA
Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions
Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
Implement and follow Behavior Support Plans (BSP)
Teach curriculum and programming for each client’s BSP; model appropriate skills and/or social behaviors and monitor progress
Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
Complete datasheets, program sheets, and other forms of documentation
Prepare materials for individual and group activities
Track and report billable hours for insurance providers through practice management software
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
Minimum 6 months of childcare experience (ABA experience preferred)
Reliable transportation
Excellent verbal and written skills
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Candidates must be able to meet payer and insurance eligibility requirements for providing billable services. This includes being at least 21 years old.
