nWhat Will You Do?

nAs an ABA Technician at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. This position will assess patient care needs, implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, continually reassess treatment plan according to patient care needs, and will implement behavior change procedures under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ABA Technician must demonstrate excellent customer service, be able to manage stressful situations, be able to work with others, have great organizational skills and ability to provide support and empathy as needed to children, adults, and families. The ABA Technician must be responsible, reliable, able to work independently, have exceptional problem solving skills. The ABA Technician must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm about the program and the Pine Rest organization.

nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:

nnnAssess, create, and implement behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

n

nnReviews behavior plans for progress and efficacy.

n

nnEstablish a positive working relationship with patients, parents and all other family members.

n

nnMaintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families.

n

nnTechnicians must function as a member of the treatment team.

n

nnUnderstands the principles of behaviorally based programming and design.

n

nnSustain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities available within Pine Rest or individually.

n

nnUtilize processes in place for measuring patient behaviors.

n

nnResponsible to document and report all necessary information according to established policies and procedures.

n

nnApply ABA processes for behavior modification.

n

nnMust maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.

n

nnProvide support as needed to client and family.

n

nnAssist in identification of treatment barriers within the family system and/or with the client and develop a plan to assist in addressing those barriers.

n

nnResponsible to uphold the healing ministry of Christ through relationships that honor integrity, stewardship, empowerment, professional excellence, and the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

n

nnMust maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.

n

nnPerforms other duties or functions as assigned.

n

nnCommitment to demonstrating Hospital and Residential Services Model of Care.

n nWhat Does This Role Require?

nEducation/Experience:

nnnRegistered Behavioral Technician Certification is preferred.

n

nnBoard Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification preferred.

n

nnKnowledge through education or experience of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

n

nnUnderstanding of the current therapy principles in area of expertise.

n

nnOn the job training or formal education in the application of ABA program principles.

n

nnGraduate education in Psychology, Social Work or other areas related to Mental or Physical Health are desired but not required.

nThe equivalent base pay range for this position is $18.04 - $27.07. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. Please note that this range does not include potential shift differentials, incentives, or bonuses, which may be part of the total compensation package. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.
