nLooking for a rewarding job that fits your busy college schedule? Join our home-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program, where you’ll work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorders, helping them learn, grow, and thrive!
nPerfect for you if you have experience working with kids — whether as a camp counselor, babysitter, parent, tutor, or in childcare.
nWhat You’ll Do:
nnnProvide in-home support to children using ABA therapy (training provided!)

nnBuild meaningful connections and celebrate small wins every day

nnWork as little as 5 hours/week or up to 40 hours/week — we’ll match your schedule!

n nWhat Will You Do?
nAs an ABA Technician at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. This position will assess patient care needs, implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, continually reassess treatment plan according to patient care needs, and will implement behavior change procedures under the guidance of the Certified ABA Specialist. The ABA Technician must demonstrate excellent customer service, be able to manage stressful situations, be able to work with others, have great organizational skills and ability to provide support and empathy as needed to children, adults, and families. The ABA Technician must be responsible, reliable, able to work independently, have exceptional problem-solving skills. Our ABA Technicians are driven to make an impact in the lives of those we serve and are motivated by the healing they witness first-hand each day. nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:
nnnEstablish a positive working relationship with patients, parents and all other family members.
n
nnMaintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families.
n
nnTechnicians must function as a member of the treatment team.
n
nnUnderstands the principles of behaviorally based programming and design.
n
nnSustain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities available within Pine Rest or individually.
n
nnUtilize processes in place for measuring patient behaviors.
n
nnApply ABA processes for behavior modification.
n
n nWhat Does This Role Require?
nEducation/Experience:
nnnRegistered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred
n
nnBoard Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification preferred.
n
nnKnowledge through education or experience of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
n
nnUnderstanding of the current therapy principles in area of expertise.
n
nnOn the job training or formal education in the application of ABA program principles.
n
nnGraduate education in Psychology, Social Work or other areas related to Mental or Physical Health are desired but not required.

nThe equivalent base pay range for this position is $18.04 - $27.07. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. Please note that this range does not include potential shift differentials, incentives, or bonuses, which may be part of the total compensation package. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.
