Job description
Westchester Medical Center, the flagship hospital of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), is seeking a full-time physician to join its academic Division of Endocrinology at the Valhalla, New York, campus. This unique position affords the opportunity to practice endocrinology and to play an active teaching role in an ACGME‑accredited endocrinology fellowship program. The successful candidate will provide outstanding clinical care for patients with the full spectrum of endocrine disorders. As the major tertiary care referral center serving a seven‑county area, Westchester Medical Center boasts a widely diverse patient population. The Division of Endocrinology is a supportive and collaborative environment, fostering professional growth and excellence in patient care, teaching, and scholarly activity.
Qualifications & Requirements
Board certified or board eligible in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
Board certified in obesity medicine is preferred but not required.
Demonstrated interest in academic medicine.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary and benefit package, including malpractice coverage, CME allowance and 401k contribution.
Academic appointment at New York Medical College; rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.
