Position Overview
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek Gastroenterologists (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor).
Successful candidates will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV and Fairmont, WV.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will practice in the areas of gastroenterology and hepatology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship and be board eligible/board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology; all qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

We have a new and expanding endoscopy center, including state-of-the-art suites for advanced procedures and ERCPs, as well as close access to adjacent specialty clinics.
Tremendous institutional support for academic pursuits related to chronic viral hepatitis and inflammatory bowel disease is available.
