Academic Neurologist, Movement Disorders & General Neurology-Worcester, MA
Hiring Range: $180,000 - $320,000 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Movement Disorders physician to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.
Key Highlights
This individual will have the opportunity to be a part of patient-centered comprehensive Movement Disorders program with an established and collegial movementdisorders group consisting of 4 MDs and an NP who specializes in DBS programming. The clinician will have the option of participating in DBS planning during monthly interdisciplinary meetings with neurosurgery and neuropsychology, DBS programming and injecting in botulinum toxin clinic. There is opportunity to work with trainees and medical students throughout the year both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
This position entails a faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School, which affords exceptional opportunities for professional development and promotion, and membership in the medical staff at UMass Memorial Medical Center, a large, integrated health system (UMMHC). UMMS and UMMHC combine top-flight clinical care with world-class research. UMMS has numerous cutting-edge research programs in RNA biology, gene expression control and human gene therapy, quantitative health sciences and outcomes research, as well as a translational program supported by a Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA). The Neurology Department is committed to integrating the outstanding academic and clinical programs through multiple activities including teaching, comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, an active neuroICU, and a large referral base throughout New England.

Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
Fellowship training in Movements Disorders
Academic/research details
Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license
