Optometrist – UMass Memorial Medical Group
Location: Worcester and Northborough, MA
Facility: UMass Memorial Medical Center – Hahnemann Campus
Department: Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences
Salary: $122,803.20 – $221,062.40 (Exempt)
Hours: 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday (40 hours)
Schedule: Day Shift, 8 Hours
Provide comprehensive eye exams
Emergency follow‑up care
Glaucoma co‑management
Vision rehabilitation services
Same‑day service care
Prescription of eyeglasses or contact lenses
Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
Eligibility for or currently holds a Massachusetts license
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in optometry
Exceptional work‑life balance – no evenings or weekends, protected admin time
Outpatient‑focused role with a diverse patient population and strong referral base
Practice at the top of your license with high clinical autonomy
Collaborative academic environment with 3 ODs, 6 residents, and 9 ophthalmologists
EPIC EMR with advanced clinical support infrastructure
