nEmployment Type: WellSpan is currently seeking a full-time BC/BE Academic Internist to join our established practice in York.

nWhat you can expect at your practice:

nnnOutpatient IM teaching practice

n

nnMix of teaching and clinical responsibilities

n

nnPhysician will precept WellSpan IM residents – 1:4

n

nnTelemedicine experience required

n

nnMonday – Friday schedule; Call Rotation consist of phone calls

n

nnSuburban office with access to on-site lab and imaging

n

nnCollegial group of providers that includes 8 full-time core faculty members

n

nMinimum Education:

nnnDoctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

nnDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

n

n nLicenses:

nnnLicensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

n

nnLicensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

n

nnBasic Life Support Upon Hire Required

n

n nCourses and Training:

nnnDiplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

nnMust qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required

n nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

nnAdministrative skills.
