Job description
As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve in public schools to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth. Working as part of a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and mentor students to build confidence, attendance, and engagement. You will collaborate closely with teachers, track student progress, and participate in after-school programs. City Year offers ongoing training, leadership development, and a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on educational equity.
